I agree Fox and I think the ugly spectre of the other two is what will win it for the PC’s, not the way we would have liked to see it go but .....

Well if the Libs win or an Coalition we will see no hope of a balanced budget for atleast 5 years.

Same for the NDP but imagine the strikes that they have blatantly said they would never use back to work legislation, look at Univ of York. The Unions will want alot of money to go back to work knowing that is the gov'ts only option .... even with guys calling for a 15% reduction in teacher pay.

and also there is the NDP relationship to Unions.

Well oddly or interestingly Unions are in a business relation ship with NDP through a for profit corporation... no wonder they took the back to work legislation off the table
"what is to stop endless strikes or emptying the public purse".

Benj vote with your conscious, you have to sleep at night.
    1) No matter who wins, it’s change.
    2) picture the damage each could do, envision the worst. How hard would it be to fix the damage in 4 years, if the “worst” come true

    3) Assume both AH and DF add on 30b in more debt. From what we can see at this point
AH plans to spend it enriching the lives of public servants, hiring boat loads more.
DF we dont really know, but most of his shortfall seems to be as a result of giving the working class a break.

Both will leave us with a lot more debt, debt we cant afford. One gives the already too powerful Unions more power, more troopers, more Union dues so that those that work for the Union line their pockets. One gives the blue collar workers, beer for a buck.

I'll vote for the government that will slash and burn the bureaucracy to the ground,no mercy,no quarter. I'll vote for the government that will uncover corruption and graft at every level and prosecute to the fullest. I'll vote for the government that will wrench the union stranglehold from the throats of the taxpayer and restore the confidence of businesses to operate without the government fingers in the till at every level............just for starters.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

That is what they say now, but no government anywhere should be trusted to do what they say they will do, it never happens because the honest people do not go into politics and if they do they do not win.

The NDP may not be as bad as we think but they may also be worse, the PCs may have their basis covered but they also may be a tire fire, with the way things are going with their "platform" tire fire is becoming more of a reality.

Until the "true" state of our books is audited and exposed nobody should even be proposing platforms. My guess is things are 3x as bad as the Libranos said they were.
Ford is actually being smart in not releasing too much. Hudak put his cards on the table and got wiped out. Don't give the media anything they can spin against you is safer.

Also the PC's only appealed to the Baby Boomers which is now not the largest voting demographic. Some of the younger generation aren't sheep and refuse to vote for a populus candidate who has no idea what he's doing or how the government even works. We don't want a Trump. For a party that calls themselves the Progressive Conservatives thier's absolutly nothing progressive about them. Which they will lose time and time again because their political strategy will never be with the times

The younger generation? Aren't sheep? The ones indoctrinated by years of liberal education? Right.
Ford nation if you haven't noticed is probably the most diverse political movement in Ontario. The PC's even after losing ground to the Dippers still have polling showing an 80% chance of a majority. Simply put ( for you ) that means support in high density areas full of multicultural ridings.

this a "CBC" poll tracker. Pretty sure they aren't wild about admitting the Liberals are effectively done.

They came back, they were at 70% and sliding fast, they were at 95% or something like that at the start of the campaign and a week to go.

The votes do not really matter but where the votes come from. If I lived in the city my vote would have a bigger impact, my riding will go PC handily but Ottawa may go left, either Liberal or more likely NDP, the core urban areas.
