14" boat Minn kota and battery

I've just purchased a 14" boat and was wondering on some good battery selection and places to buy
The boat will have 15 merc 4 stroke electric start and also a 55lbs minn kota I pilot on the bow .

what size batteries are my best option

But seriously anywhere you can find two on special. although you could get by on just a deep cycle/cranking battery I like to keep starter and deep cycle separate. Canadian tire is always good to start followed by bass pro.

Costco , one dual rated or one cranking and one deep cycle...size 24 for the cranking and 27 for a deep cycle, if dual rated go as big as you can.

A size 24 will be fine for the 55lb bow mount.. and waaaaay lighter than a 27. Hooking up an on board trickle charger helps if you plan on mounting it under a front deck.
