Don't rush Spring/Summer yet. Were heading out camping June 28 - July 1 and Again August long weekend.
We did see a few grouse out in May long weekend but not as many as in past years.

Small game is open all year in southern Ontario. Knock on farm doors for permission to hunt G'Hogs and Coyotes. There's nothing like sitting under a tree overlooking a pasture watching for g'hogs to pop up. It's an awesome way to laze away a hot summer afternoon.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....
