Default Drought conditions in Bruce County

What a change from last year! It seems like every time rain is in the forecast, it goes around us. I have a weather station and in June we got 2.66 cm of rain for the whole month. May was a little better with 8.9 cm. No rain this month so far and the rain in the forecast for Thursday is getting less and less as we get closer, maybe 3 mm.
our pond has dropped at least 4 inches the last 2 weeks.
Looks like this may be another year like 2 years ago. It’s bad enough that there is no rain but the really hot weather sure isn’t helping. I’m sure there will be fire bans soon.
The crops are really starting to show the lack of moisture now as well.

Fickle Mother Nature, dry us out or drown us. I can see campfire bans coming soon.

Yup, gonna be bad perhaps. My drainage ditch on the one side of our fields is nothing but mud and the creek at the back is 6-8 inches down from where it normally should be.

I just pulled up the radar for our area, zoomed out, at 12:30pm there was not a spec of rain in all of Ontario, just insane.

Very dry in the Ottawa area too. I was out for a ride on my ATV in the Marlborough forest on Saturday, and the only time I've seen it drier was in the late summer 2 years ago. If this lack of rain keeps up for much longer, it will be drier than that very soon.
