When Are Deer (antlered) and Bear Tags Available for Purchase?

I have been to the ministry website to renew my small game and fishing licences, but I have never bought tags before. I thought you could get them on-line, but I don't see them on the site. Do they only become available on a certain date?

You can apply for the Moose, and Deer draw online but the draw is now closed.
You cannot buy Bear or Turkey tags they must be purchased at a store same with deer and Moose tags now that the draw has passed.

Can doe tags be purchased after the antlerless draw is over. I always have entered the draw but this year I didn’t make it on time so I really don’t know if this is possible but I think I no the answer already

If there are extra tags for a WMU you can purchase those but they are usually Antlered Only. You cannot purchase Doe tags only through the draw otherwise why would people enter a draw..

Welcome to the forum,Chopperjake. Too bad you missed the antlerless draw. Sometimes,life has a way of screwin' stuff up. Your best bet is to head to Canadian Tire. They can set you up for what you need. The only upside (if there's such a thing) about not having an antlerless tag is you can hunt anywhere in Ontario that's not a "controlled" hunt.

Thanks to all who chimed in...I guess I am off to Crappy Tire! To be honest, the antlerless draws were not even on my radar since I am new to hunting and was a bit overwhelmed on where to go and what to do. I have since found a really helpful gent who has promised to show me the ropes!

People would still enter the draw because they wouldn't want to end up like me, asking questions if you can buy doe tags after the draw LOL
