    Default Laws for Doves

I should know this but I don't as I've never been in this position.
Can you "party hunt" birds in ON? I can't shoot anymore but can take my dog with a friend who shoots well. Can he shoot my limit too for me?

Sorry but No. You can let your friend borrow the dog and watch, but he can only shoot his limit.

I am sorry too. Now if your friend was to shoot pigeons ( rock doves[Columbia Livia]), he can shoot as many as you like( or he can hit)

They are grain fed and the breast is up to twice the size of the morning dove you asked about.
    Good luck

Guess I could sweeten the pot by offering to loan you a spread of pigeons decoys and two flapping mojo dove decoys. The pigeons love the flapping or spinner wing decoys, and they don't even have to be dove or pigeon. They will decoy to movement even when it's a duck decoy( teal hen works best).

I wonder with the pool of talent and interest is shooting pigeons on here, why does no one seems to hook up and do some shooting?

I got decoys, gun and ammo will travel.
Work in Mississauga, live in London, and the inlaws are in Kingsville. Only problem I have is scouting and finding farms/fields to shoot over. I was only home 2 or 3 days a month so that did not help. Trying be free every weekend now, so hope to do some scouting. There has got to be a few places to shoot without scaring the farmers wife.

What ever is your favorite clay/skeet load. Mild velocity ( 1100 to 1200Fps) with 1 to 1 1/8oz of 6, 7, 8, or 9 shot. Just bring more then one box, and buy your target loads by the case. You just need to find a target load that patterns well in your shotgun.

Last time I stocked up my Federal top guns were 70 to 80 dollars a case. Cheaper then waterfowl loads, and it's cheaper to buy then reload target loads.
