This camera was only 24" off the ground ... just triggered the Camera a little too fast on one pic and too slow for the other... I out the camera to video mode.... IF he comes back, I will get him.... hopefully

Did you move the camera? It looks like he saw it.

Yes I moved it but he would have to work to get it off.... it's lagged to the tree and has a padlock ... if someone wants it they can get it but not without breaking the camera..

second pic looks like he caught a glimpse of the camera. curious to see if he'll go back in there now. I also don't think he's trying to be malicious strictly due to the fact that the camera would be stolen or destroyed for sure. Unfortunately or fortunately I've been cursed/blessed to think of the worst until being proven the best. So this guy is still pretty suspicious to me.

i agree.. he could have tried to pry it off or get it off by some other means.. now, maybe he looked and saw it's lagged to the tree and padlocked... i did have my son's SD card stolen out of his camera only a few feet from this one... his overlooks his mineral site.. i only have this one there for this reason, to catch whoever is going onto the property ... my boy and i are headed out there soon to look further.. also talking to the landowner to see if he is okay with us posting some no trespassing signs... i was just there to the bush yesterday, and in the past week there were no pics of him.. doesn't mean he isn't in there, he could have taken one of the other 3 trails... i intend to get a good look through the bush as it is bugging me why he is in there... it's suspicious to me too..especially that the landowner doesn't know him, yet he has dogs running the bush ( not only in this pic, but a number of times last year during the late season)... of all the times last year i saw those dogs running deer and cruising in the bush, not once did i see or hear sign of any person with them..... didn't hear a quad, chainsaw, no calling for the dogs, nothing... so, he must be close by in one of the surrounding bushes or living in one of the surrounding houses.. ... someone earlier mentioned he could be driving and unloading his quad and dogs on a nearby road, but a vast majority of the nearby roads are paved highways... so it's possible, but at this point, unlikely... at the start, i gave this guy the benefit of doubt but know that i know the landowner has no clue who he is and said he shouldn't be back there, i am treating it now as someone trespassing for some reason.. i am going to take some of the other trails and look for signs of tree cutting, or some willie nelson crops or maybe another stand in there somewhere... who knows.. but i intend to find out..

well, another update.. my son and i went back again last night to look around.. i am really confused at to what this guy was doing in there.. the trail he took by our stands is blocked off about 75 yards past my stand by a really big downed tree... there is a spot where the trail forks off that looked like there was tracks, well it's blocked by some downed trees too... there is , literally, no way for him to get in further to the bush.. when i look at the photos, there is only 5 minutes between photos of him.. maybe he thought he could get in then saw the downed trees, turned around and left?? talked to the land owner again and he was back there twice to look around, he didn't notice anything either... he did say we could post some no trespassing signs so that is what we did... i put up 4 for now, on the trails leading to the bush and the main trail leading into our bush that the stands are on... i also put a trail cam at the trail leading into our bush ( by the black ash plantation) then the main trail that our stands are on... if he comes back, i hope to get a license plate on the quad...
