Hunted at South River Resort last year with my Dad at the beginning of archery season, non guided we hunted crown land and did it on our own. Nice cabins, and nice spot. Steve was not the Hunting guide (at least when we were there) but we did speak to the guy who was guiding two other guys for a few days and he seems like a really nice guy and knows the area and his stuff.

Didn't even see a deer while we were up there DUTCH, saw SOME tracks but not much at all, the other two guys who were doing the guided hunt a few cabins over saw only 1 buck I believe. Mind you the weather was in the deers favour while we were there, full moon every night and really windy and rainy through the day, except the day we went home of course.
