Announced by a person who shouldn't legally be a citizen little alone an MP making laws etc. You need an ID for damn near everything and they put this in on the ability to help choose a government that makes the laws ...

What is the purpose/benefit of doing that? I don't even get why this possibly makes sense, other than to promote voter fraud if it somehow were to benefit the Liberals.

Liberals and NDP'ers are famous for this crap. They'll scream and yell claiming anyone against them is a racist. Immigrants from other countries are masters at electoral manipulation. That's one reason many Asian elections require voters to dip their fingers in indelible ink so they can't vote more than once. Heaven forbid we actually ensure that only Canadians can vote.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Yep and it's a good thing,too. If an election was held today,all the pot heads would flood the polls enough to be a swing vote in case the shiny pony was close to the thin edge of the wedge. They'd make sure they brought every bogus Canadian they could find to stack the vote,too. It's wise to let the Libby's thoroughly fkuc up to be past the point of no return.

My God, this country is so fckued! Everyday, there seems to be something else going on that just makes a person want to gag? I honestly cant understand how anyone can stand behind the liberals when they come up with this sort of nonsense?
That million or so that are "living abroad"? Geez, I wonder where they are? Reminds me of the debacle over in Lebanon a few short years ago that had 50,000 or so "Lebanese Canadians" demanding a ride home when crap hit the fan in the latest civil war over there. It's comforting to know these Canadians are so happy to have citizenship that they are abroad promoting this great country?

Well the libs have ticked off the unions in Ontario, I anticipate First Nations also ticked off by trying to bully the pipeline through and so anyone close to that should be out, anyone with business sense is out, Alberta, Ontario, BC ... can't be supporting him given either pipeline issue or fiscal concern ... anyone that supports our troops over terrorists should be out. Will Quebec wage war with him over the illegal boarder crossings, especially in light of being called racists just for raising concern?

That business about the Canadians in Lebanon is exactly what I was thinking too, citizenship for convenience !! And remember the howling from the left when the Conservative government didn’t immediately send a fleet to rescue them ? Absolutely stupid.
satisfying the needs of all the various ethnic groups is going to be akin to satisfying the voting bloc of Quebec soon, watch the s**t fly then....
