    Default Manitoba black bear

After a busy fall of guiding for black bear I finally got to do some hunting myself. Had this nice bear come in on Saturday at 6pm and enjoyed watching him for a good hour. Decided if he came back on Sunday I would harvest him. So Sunday at 4:30 he comes back for a snack and I let him have it. Put my first notch on my Tikka t3 hunter in 9.3x62 Mauser. Bear went 5 yards dead on his feet. Was able to find the bullet 1" into a spruce 10 yards behind and weighed 180 grains from the 286 it started of as. Weighed in at 330lbs and is a nice mature boar.
