I'm planning to go Saturday for first time if anyone has any tips that would be great we need to walk out to a blind and will have 12 ft flat bottom with no motor to retrieve birds thanks

I just responded to your question on the other thread ... take care and let us know how you make out.

My favourite blinds on Gull Island were 15, 19, 20, 16 and 22 in that order. I never hunted 21 (too deep to retrieve birds on foot) as it was not as productive as the other blinds and I only hunted 17 once (1978) since it was the least productive blind on Gull Island ... got a goose that day.

I only hunted 18 once since the rip current is strong and retrieving a downed bird could be very difficult.
