What!!?? All what dead deer? I'm not sure where you are, but, any dead deer around here doesn't last 5 minutes and it's someone's freezer.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Cut it up or tarp it would have worked for me...... but then if it was just for me (seeing it), I couldn't careless.....but when it hits social media, it affects me and other hunters too, so hopefully the individual had good reason to do what they did, if they didn't he/she is still a dink.

I haven't had occasion to display my kills in this manner, but I wouldn't hesitate to go down the highway with a deer or moose in the bed of the pick-up with the tailgate down. Wouldn't bother me in the least.
But I live in a rural area, surrounded by farm folk and country bumpkins who appreciate the concept of putting food on the table. If the anti's and/or weak kneed don't like it, we'll too bad?
I suppose, if it comes right down to it, I agree with what this guy has done.

Worrying about the deer on the truck upsetting the kids, when there are dead deer all over the side of the road.

Kids see five, six, seven deer dead on road but the only one that you are worried about is the one on the truck..

It's like give your head a shake.

Yes , give your head a good shake!
No where in my post did I ever say that I was worrying about dead deer in a truck!

Yes kids see more than dead deer on a road, ie; cats ,dogs, raccoons, turtles birds of all sorts.

Anyone who eats meat needs to button their lips. It's hypocrisy coming down on this when they buy their slabs of meat at the grocery store made from animals that have no life. Just because it's in a polystyrene tray with wrapping, doesn't make it any better. An animal had to die to give you your meat, and pretending it didn't happen doesn't change anything in reality. The only people I have time for are vegetarians. At least they walk the talk. We have so many arm chair critics nowadays it's not funny. There could be a hundred good reasons he did this. I see a big ATV in the back of that truck, and it seems he found a clever space saving idea. Nothing more or less than that to me, and certainly this should not be a story.
