Hit on Road
This bruiser was frequenting one of my spots but was taken out by a car the other night.....[emoji3525] What do you think he'd score?

Don't know about the score, but he was definitely "the loser"

I am not pretending to have any great knowledge of the scoring process, but in general terms I think he would have a lot of deductions for the difference in the two sides. Not sure if the one brow tine was broken off in the crash or before? I shot a very comparable deer but with almost perfect symmetry 2 years ago and it scored 151 7/8. It may have had more mass too. I am not at home or I would post a pic. So I am saying 130 after deductions. But that is a great inside spread and a terrible shame to lose him like that. I also cannot imagine hitting him---hope the driver was Ok.

That's what I was thinking. I shot a 6 pt a few years ago with perfect symmetry and he scored 140. Lots of deductions but great spread and mass. Have him on camera , too bad.

Look at that neck! That big boy had likely spread his genetics many times this year. Plus, hopefully he has other offspring on the way up already. Happy hunting folks.

Iam sure he did some rutting. Ive seen a few this year very similar, maybe same genetics.
