    Default Upcoming ML tactics

So with ML season coming up in a couple weeks for myself and I’m sure many others, I want to know what tips, tricks and tactics you use that have proven successful. Are you hunting the same stands as oct and nov? Where are some good stand locations other then edge of a field right now? Time of day are you hunting? Something out of the ordinary?

I would still hunt the bush early morning (first 2hrs or so) and then again late afternoon (last hr). Go slow, take a step or two, look around, look ahead, then take another step or two, with the wind in your face or crosswind, repeat this and you will spot deer.
With most of the leaves off, you will need to move very, very slow, which is a lot harder than it sounds.
Watching travel corridors or field edges might work too... but still hunting is much more exciting

We sat on known travel routes between bedding & food. This worked very well for us 4 tags filled in 2 days. Next year we need to pace ourselves. I didn't even get to unwind...

time to hit the cedars and evergreens if you can. they have begun to focus more on food again as well... during the cold, its all about food, shelter and conserving energy. keep that in mind and you'll see the deer.

... i kind of wish that in the controlled areas you could hunt both weeks....
