Trespassers
Ok so I haven’t been up into a corner of my property for a whole year because it’s a bedding area
Today we walked through
I found a corn feeder not a cheap one a trail cam a barrel of corn and a soft blind with chair. Plus a tree stand
trees have been cut at the ground and branches removed
What to do now?
One level 0-10 I’m at 15

The way I see it, you haven't stole their gear, you just found it? You're keeping it in safe storage until the proper owner can be found, right?

It looks to me like they disposed of it illegally on his property, maybe it would be best if they do not claim it and get charged for dumping.

Leaving a note is a good way to let them know you have the stuff.......and if it was a legitimate mistake they will contact you, if they knowingly were on your place, they most likely walk away.

If your property was properly marked-i do not say yes or no,but if it was:they knowingly trespassed with a purpose of hunting.Big no-no.
Their stuff you can take away-and store them, as you please.
Leave a note-contact me for your stuff.
if they do-you figure out what they are about,if they do not-you just got a heap of good and free stuff.
Then:
Next year you need to do some steps to prevent this from reoccurring.

look at it in a positive way, you have some new gear and a fresh baited spot to hunt LOL. Like others said it could be an honest mistake. Why would you trespass and leave good equipment behind. Talk to neighbouring owners that boarder your property and ask if they granted permission to someone that may have crossed properties by accident .

That is a lot of corn residue under that feeder. They have been feeding for sometime
MNR should require proof of hunting property before selling tags
