One of my boys lives near there. The lakes are still open water. It's hard to imagine it happening this early . Condolences to the family.

Oh ya for sure. Now why didn't he throw on a PFD or float coat, at least they can minimize the time to find him bobbing around rather than having to go to the bottom.

I feel awful for his family.
He was an absolute idiot and paid the ultimate price
