Ya the small shrub tree things would probably be my best spot for next year on the ground for sure I just set my feed site in a bad spot I guess.

Me too! I’d try to utilize the car or boats....the deer are obviously used to them.

Compound would make it tough crossbow would be great. Have a similar junked car in one of my turkey spots have used it a couple of times on rainy days to get out of the weather haven't got a bird out of it yet though . Come too think of it would having a load gun in a junked car be considered as having a load gun in a vehicle?

I've shot quite a few deer from stands just like that, except I use a crossbow. I guess it would be different using a vertical bow though...

Ya ladder stand or something is what I'm thinking unfortunately I can't even go up 20ft the trees are pretty small

I think you are very "skylighted" in your stand and are probably not high enough up in any event not to be scented.Considering the lack of good tree,s for a stand set up I would be trying to either borrow or buy a small blind and set it up right for the wind.Using a compound its still going to be a challenge.IMO

I have friend coming out saterday to hunt with me and help out.

I have ideas for next year I just unsure of if I move the feed site over to where I'm thinking if the deer will fallow?

You could probably move the bait site now, they'll find it. If you're having issues with deer seeing you at your current setup what have you got to lose?

Move the bait to a site where you can conceal yourself, set up a makeshift ground blind, let the place cool off for a few days then go hunt it when the wind is right.

How early should I go to my stand,
I was late getting out today showed up at 7 shoot light was 7:07 looked on my cam had a buck there from 6:38-6:50 and as I came in I could hear deer running in the distance I think it was that buck...

The problem I see is that there is no backdrop, so the slightest movement could be spotted in the light coloured sky.
