    From left from right...... small female, large male, large male.....Split belly ones are good for the man cave couch or coffee table but the closed ones look better as wall hangers.

    Neither, just an alum tan..... about 2.5lbs of salt, 1/2lb alum mixed with 3 gallons of water.....let it sit in it for about a week, stirring it up occasionally.... Take it out, wash it then hang to dry..... As it is drying, I am sure you know this but for those that don't.....the more you work it the softer it will become..... If you don't work it, the leather portion does not get very soft but the fur side does feel really soft and with a good wash, and some downy.....smells really nice

    Thanks for the info. Did you sand and/or oil the leather side during the breaking period

    Not any of these, but the one I have at work hanging in my office I did sand it and it is soft, I mean really soft, it came out excellent.... That is the one I show off to all of my non-hunting friends.... Maybe over the summer I will take these out onto the back porch and sand them too, but for now they are good just the way they are...
