2018 yamaha 60hp question
[COLOR=#000000]Would anyone happen to know where the precision trolling wiring harness plug is,under the cowl? Ive purchased the switch and wiring harness and I'm installing it myself...I have it all ran through the boat to dash, but im stumped as to where they hid the plug in the engine...2018 60hp Yamaha outboard

Check on youtube - there's a video on everything there. Failing that, google it and someone will have posted how they did it.

It will most likely be at the front of the motor, close to where the other connectors are. Sometimes they put a plastic cover over the receptacle and tape it shut. All of mine on an F40 Tiller, ignition, warning lights, kill switch and electronic idle control are all close together.
Scroll down, look at the top picture with #1, it shows where the cap(black) has to be removed and your new connected plugged in.

Thank you Fisherman!! that's where it was...kinda hidden under the starter cable. looks like when they routed the starter cable it got wedged underneath the cable. glad I looked there as the starter cable was slightly jamming into the shifter linkage and over time it probably would have been a problem. Thanks again!!!
