Not that far off..... when you think about it ....West Nile virus or moose fencing.... Not sure this will go anywhere but interesting spin on things.

City of Cambridge does treat areas to kill mosquito larva hence west nile virus , in areas where they are dominant.

Not sure how I feel about a class action at this point, but I have to admit Its kind of nice to see someone challenging the asinine tactics of some townships... coyote watch canada..a left wing nut job group met with the town of collingwood and gave a presentation on how to live with coyotes..this is an anti hunting group that works on banning hunting and trapping and for some reason the town thought it was a good idea to take their advice - if my pets were disappearing and I was a resident of Collingwood I wouldnt be happy either.
Unfortunately the town now has legal bills to pay but perhaps they will think twice before taking advice from these types of left leaning special interest groups going forward and instead use a more practical approach..

jaycee - the city of cambridge also resorted to trapping coyotes last year after a coyote attacked a dog in a city park, and luckily coyote watch canada swooped in and shut that down really quick as well..see links below...

I am well aware of that , as I know the trapper very well.

It was shut down due to an individual, also known by me , "George Aikin " that had posted a picture of the coyote caught in the trap.
"Bromberg said the foot trap used by the city has no teeth. Its jaws are off-set and laminated, designed to maintain blood circulation and not cause injury. Canada has approved several such trapsfor use on coyotes as part of an international agreement on humane trapping standards.Aitkin said he saw no blood on the coyote."

My municipality lets the wind blow right over my house. Someone could get killed if a branch fell off a tree, yet they do nothing about it. Two weeks ago there was a bird crapping on my car - the township put up "no birds allowed" signs but they don't even enforce them! They also refuse to come to my house and fold my laundry.

WHY THE HELL DO I PAY TAXES???

Time for a few more lawsuits.

If only they would just leave everything alone instead of pestering us with stupid laws. And by the way, although your joke is well received ... watch what's building up on the tick/lime disease front ... that is a class action lawsuit waiting to happen.
