This was later found to be a lie as there was nothing to back it up, the TPS admitted that.
Bill Blair is the quintessential “dumbass” as was evident during his time as commissioner of the TPS and by the fact his contract wasn’t removed.
What was is Einstein said “Lunacy is doing the same thing over and over with the expectation of a different result”. The Liberals love gun control but it has yet to show much in the way of positive results.

Minister of Border Security and Organized Crime Reduction Bill Blair said implementing a national handgun ban is still on the table, and would not rule out issuing a federal order instead of legislation given the limited window of Parliamentary time.

I listened to him on Question Period this morning. It makes one wonder how any of the officers serving under him could stand the guy. His non-answers and dancing around a straight forward question showed he's long been a politician through and through and at some point in his life he possibly, perhaps, maybe, might have been an acceptable street cop.

Police chiefs are all politicians.

There is one that thought/thinks he was/is the best , our man Gilroy, was always telling us how great a chief Blair was.
Gilroy may be banned from here as he is in the Off Topic section.

Both believed there was a value to having the registry. Sorta like the two ugliest people at the dance will for sure end up in bed together at the end of the night.

Having met with Bill Blair weekly for a number of years, I can say that if you put politics aside , he is a compassionate , kind, considerate man.

Admirable traits to be sure, but that does not change the fact that virtually everyone wears blinders where their personal ideologies are concerned.
