I image they could make quite a case for the old bolt action .303 Enfield being rated right up there with the best of assault weapons. Depends on how it was registered...if it was a scary AR Rock....then they would just ban them and continue to let the commonly used Magnum Boulder or Semi Stone to be used for hunting.

Once they ban the AR15, they’ll figure out that a semi-auto is a semi-auto and then go after traditional-looking firearms! I’m sure the crooks and gang members are loosing sleep over this latest attack on legal firearm owners!
