Has too much time on their hands
Entered last week!
The rules are a bit different when you live outside Ontario, but I'm hoping to hunt moose up towards Red Lake this year.

Good luck to the 850 or so hunters that are trying to get the only 1 area 47 tag; buy a lottery ticket too LOL!

I gave up on moose hunting a couple years ago. Did it for decades, just not worth the vacation time anymore.
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

Thanks Judge. I forgot. Seen your thread yesterday and had time to apply. If it wasn’t for my 2 nephews coming, I wouldn’t bother either.

I,m retired so it does not cut into my vacation time.
I enjoy getting up north I do care if we get a moose or not.
Plenty of grouse and a great walk around the woods.
Good group of hunters and some good food.
Fishing is not bad either.
Enjoy it while you can , life is shorter than you can imagine .

These threads need a "like" button.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

That tag in 47, is so that no one applies there. I apply in 48 for bow, but will also hunt in our camp in 47 for a calf. Mostly a holiday, Do a bit of fishing. Not able to lug a moose out any more, But still want to get out to the bush. old 243
