My area seems to consistently be a week or 2 behind from when I see other guys finding them.

Those are Blond Morels. They come out 1-2 weeks after the Black Morels

Blonde* Morles, Yellow Morels; call them what you like. I understand the timeline -- just stating that I'm surprised he's still finding them. I haven't found any yellows for a few weeks.

I pulled into the driveway at the cottage Friday, and i had six morels sitting right in the driveway. It was a nice way to start the weekend
