The part we do not know is what actually happened, it is possible that the neighbour falsely stated unsafe shooting, it is also possible that they were not shooting safely, we will probably never know and probably not see the evidence, unless the charges against the friends become a massive trial.

Anonymous calls should be illegal. Someone calls in a report of something, they should have to give their name. Cops can not give out the name, but with a false report they should be charging people.
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.

Clearly read the guy failed to comply with the RCMP orders.
Blew off the first call, grabbed his phone to record instead of complying immediately.
RCMP had one ideal what the guy is doing behind the door for all they knew could be loading up.
where a bunch of RCMP shot out there fairly recently?
Think this has more to do some lawyer looking for a pay day.

You mean the same account where he had to take two small children out of the tub, and no mention of how long it took?
Yeah, we're reading the same account.
Were shots fired IN the house. I'm missing the part where the people outside shooting are mistaken for the people inside.
Not nearly enough information to excuse the tactical team at this point.

Yes, exactly.. "according to the story " which was his version and his alone.
Still ain't buying it,, still stinks.

Strange how the guys comment to the newspaper includes a suggestion of some monetary compensation already.
So many people like to eat this $h!t up on these forums and pass judgement so quickly, tiring really.

While one side is free to use social media to spread 'their story...the other side is held to 'no comment...an going investigation'...so we never hear it until the trial.

From the report the complainant states he saw the RCMP at his neighbours place and decided to pack up and get out of there.
Now look at it from the LEO point of view.
Why would someone doing something that was lawful suddenly leave. caution/doubt raised a bit
The people in the house are the people that where shooting outside the house along with others that may or may not be in danger.
RCMP tried to contact on his cell phone (how they managed that I don't know. Maybe he was know too them) guy blew him off more doubt/caution
Send in tactical and let them figure it out as not cooperating.
Maybe if the shooters stayed where they where a tactical takedown at the house may not have been needed.

Yup some have a real axe to grind against LEO's and CO's doing their job while ensuring they too are able to go home too their families safely.

fff, he called his friends and told THEM to pack up after seeing police at the neighbors. Nothing in the article says he was outside. Begs the question as to whether the police seen the 2 friends leave.

Well I already had enough with this thread. Wait for the actual details if it goes to trial. No need to speculate any more.
Now on a lighter note think there are bunch of gophers out there thinking "Dude welcome to our world. Gopher up and get over it"

I was thinking basically the same thing, who knows what his neighbor said on the phone to them.
