    Hello,,, hello,, anybody out there..??
Probably to be fair would have to include all the complaints of inaction regarding trespassing, shooting before/after legal and other such things.
Poor LEO's dammed if they do and dammed if they do not.

In my younger years I was out in the prairies for a bit living in a small town. Some of the local youth invited me on a round of golf, the golf course was over on the edge of town. It was a small set up that you bang a few balls around. I recall at one of the holes the group of us came to a haul. At which point one of the lads went fishing through his golf bag and to my surprise pulled out a small .22 from amongst his club, The course had a few additional holes that were not on the greens, but along the fairways. A gopher's head was protruding out of one, and the young lad took aim and fired. You do this out here I inquired? Yes, he replied or the gopher's would taken over the place. I should point out there were no other golfers onn the course.

Now on a lighter note think there are bunch of gophers out there thinking "Dude welcome to our world. Gopher up and get over it"
For someone who had enough of this thread in post 19 and stated there was no need to speculate any more, you've sure make quite a few posts in speculation since then.

Is it not speculation to assume the law is always right and that people who have had adverse encounters must have done something to deserve it?

Also, (and this is pretty basic stuff) just because something has never happened to YOU, doesn't mean that someone undeserving of such treatment hasn't had it happen to them.

Now I had better get out of the way, I might be stepped upon by your high horse.

Police actually called the guy beforehand (SOP)and asked him to come out and talk to them. He just blew them off. Being on the outside looking in when that happens sets off every alarm bell there is. Bin there, dun that back in the day when we had to "go in hot" (like Mayerthorpe) because TRU teams were only deployed in the "bright lights". Reporting has been very one-sided. I'll wait until more info is released before commenting further. On the other hand, too, this doesn't be appear to be anything like the Logan Case in Ontario many years ago.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Yep.....a lot more to this story...police can’t afford to take any chances where firearms are concerned, nor should they. More scrutiny should be placed on the information they were given initially !!

That would be my first order of business after the smoke clears from this, too. It it turns out there was a malicious call, someone would be going to court,if not criminally, definitely civilly.

In the last three years, when leaving the woods from my hunt mentoring program I have been over at least a dozen times. Each instance, when I asked the officer why he pulled me over, he stated, I had just come from the woods and wanted to check if I had firearms.

Each time I challenge them, back again..what law did I break in order for you to stop me legally. My truck, trailer are legal and compliant, I do trailer light check before entering the HWY and have adjust my mirrors. Basically a circle check.

Each time, I have not been asked to produce a drivers license, insurance, registration for the trailer or truck. IT is just pure harassment..... I have never allowed, been asked to see, search or view the interior of my vehicle. Once is OK, but it is the same cop for the last 3 years...

I have no problem accepting this guys live video and commentary of the events that transpired. Until counter facts show otherwise, he should have everyone's support.
His videos can be used against him and his associates in court, so I'll consider them facts for now.
The chances of those police admitting their mistakes/wrongdoing are about as likely as me showing this article to one of my farmer friends that I have permission from.
