Default What did the armed U.S. citizens of California do?

Another mass shooting in California at a food festival , reports of 3 dead and 16 injured.
Where are all these supposed well armed U.S. citizens when they are needed?
What kind of answer can joepa give us?

It is "just"my personal opinion but: tragic death of innocent people should not be used for personal attack!

What's the point here? Are you trying to blame the guns in the USA for being so open . If so you do have look at the population of the states compared to Canada. We are not much better off here with our strict gun control laws. 4 dead in Markham over the weekend probably another 16 shot at throughout the city.

    Just sayin.

You can't compare the States and Canada when it comes to gun related deaths. We're talking about murder, not suicide. Its hard to find comparing statistics for the same given period but the States has 10 times our population, they have on average11,000 gun related murders while we had 233. No comparison whatsoever.

The answer is simple - not enough armed citizens - besides Calif' is very anti gun state - anything else you want to know -

Jaycee, Commie-fornia is a bad comparison to other states. The restrictions the state has placed on it's Citizens that own guns are unbelievable.

Simple having an eight inch bread knife ( for slicing my bagels in half ) inside my truck is enough for me to be arrested and sent to jail on offensive weapons charges.

Many cities here are passing by-laws to prohibit the sale of firearms and ammo by business with in the city or townships.

The first attempt at confiscation of firearms from people has already been table by the Government and barely defeated.

Ask about Detroit, were the Chief of Police is telling Citizens that can legally own to buy firearms. At least you would be asking about Citizens that are armed.

Too many of wrong types own firearms and that's what has their murder rate so off the charts. If there's no infrastructure to properly vet whos buying firearms then you sure won't see any difference in the murder statistics. As It is now it seems anyone can walk into a yard sale and buy a firearm--no background check takes place.

Every sale requires a background check, somethings also have a waiting period as well.

Just like here in Canada, registration, waiting times and background checks doesn't seem to be working any better for them than it does for us. Gee,whoda thunk that?
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....
