    Default Cottontails Dying

In the last 10 days or so there's been a 3 dead cottontails, 2 adult size and one little one from this spring. No sign of other animal interaction, or blood or anything like that, just dead as rock. Any ideas? Like watching the little buggers sitting in my clover patch every evening munching away.

Well they say a rabbit can die from fear, did they maybe get a look at you?

Were the eye clear or covered over and blind?

I've had 10-12 cottontails die in my backyard this year. However in all cases the cause of death was beagle

I have a couple that come out most evenings and sit in front of my kennels and torment the hell out of my hounds. Seems they know the dogs can't get out. Upsets the old lady to no end. Love it...

Any pesticides being used on lawns I think could poison a rabbit

No. Maybe just too much heat.
