My Rant for Today
Looking to replace my old CVA optima (15yr old ) to a newer CVA optima V2 no one seems to carry black stock all seem to carry camo stock version, Bass Pro have 2 on sale but wont hold one for me. So question does having camo or black stock really make that big of a difference when you hunt from a ground blind not that I don't mind paying the extra but when its not necessary?.

Having camo gun never matters....
Funny story about CVA muzzleloaders. My dad bought a camo .45cal muzzleloader about 15 years ago and when loading it the sabots would fall right out the end of the barrel.....turns out the gun was stamped wrong (it was a .50cal) but was stamped .45cal. the gun shoots .50cal very good, I think he bought it for $200 brand new.

Exactly...
Just make sure your lily white face isn't standing out from the background of your blind and that you have a coating on the scope lens to prevent glare....that is all a deer see's when he looks your way.

Camo is cool looking but definitely not needed...
I have the CVA Wolf for about 5 years now, it shoots well. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it...

Black is actually a better colour in a tent, blends in with the back ground
