controlled hunt
Thinking this might be the better place to put this one out there.
With all the hooting and hollering and trespassing over the past week in my backyard, I think I'm going to switch to the december hunt.
anyone else to the ML hunt instead for similar reasons? less stress that way?

Definitely much quieter. Just hope its cold and snowy. Warmer years can be difficult. Worth the piece of mind for sure. Seldom hear a shot in my area.

I've always considered it but I'm concerned about road travel that time of year. There's definitely a lot less pressure but the snow can be very deep in my area.

I hunt November every year BECAUSE there is more hunters out there. Gets the deer moving. I also find the rut is on better for November than December hunt.
Deer are more nocturnal in December for whatever reason around here.

You could just hunt archery and never have to deal with it at all with a real long season.
