I was just looking at the forecast for my area for next week. -15!!!!! Chesley, Walkerton area. I hope the rivers and creeks don’t freeze like last year.

Has too much time on their hands
If it continues like this it will. It will be a repeat of last year for sure. Orangeville reservoir was frozen over this morning

Not good for waterfowl hunters. A large number of ducks and geese left our area after last year’s freeze in November.

This early freeze sucks, last weekend the waterways where choked full of waterfowl and the thickets where holding woodcock. Now this freeze gave them a kick in the butt to get them out of here.

Yeh about 200 geese laying in a fall wheat field here, pond has a skim of ice on it. Not good, they will be moving on as it sounds next 3 days even colder.

There will be a lot of birds move with this full moon....I’ve seen Lake St Clair nearly empty out of ducks in a November full moon...
