thanks all.
species-- yeah i'm kind of a walking oxymoron. i was a black sheep in churches all my life.
hockey-- im shooting an older excal exomag. I've had a similar situation earlier this season and actually passed because it was a bit further and the wind was blowing. the elements really did play in my favour as there was 0 wind and it was so still i could hear everything in the woods.
the broadhead is the torrid mechanical. I've heard mixed reviews but alot of guys said they do exactly what it did. i had used another head to practice and have been impressed with the results. it flies really well and once it gets into the boiler room, if it doesn't happen to pass through it really cuts everything up in there and brings the deer down.

The name had me as well, images of Sid Vicious pop into my head; but that ages me. Having exchanged PM messages with Punk previous I look forward to a time when our schedules line up for getting out.
One of the better Ministers we have had at church, and I am not a regular visitor ( I feel closer to God up in a tree taking in all that he created, the towering trees are my Cathedral) was also a Hunter. I smile thinking back to the time he was telling a story and had a child's stuffed animal with him, he said it was his favorite, when he squeezed it there was a male Elk bugle, a few of us had shot eating grins in the pews.
Congrats on the deer, great job in recognizing the need to change positions rather than sitting it out, too many people would have sat back and hoped things changed, rather than make the move.
