I started but with no success. My buddy saw one snowshoe on our last hunt with no shot. Other then that no other sightings

Karen is seeing a few rabbits when she has Macy out for her runs. But it's a park so no hunting.... Macy has been good on finding rabbits, but no hunting yet.

Looking forward to heading up to JMathew's place, but not having luck on timing.

Lots of tracks on my place. We’ll figure something out soon. I have a pretty flexible schedule, more so during the week. Open invite to anyone with trained dogs to come up for a rabbit hunt this fall/winter. Located near Walkerton.

I’m waiting for deer season to end so I can hit the crown land around 87D. Lot’s of people bow hunt this area. So I like to wait so I don’t disturb anyone’s hunt. Looks good for the bunny population. Best year I can remember

As soon as the deer season is done I fully intend on getting after some snowshoes. It's been quite a few years since I was out and I seem to be lacking the exercise these days. Never had the opportunity to hunt hoppers with dogs, sure sounds fun.

How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

So that settles it. After deer season( or before) we all show at J's place for coffee, and a BBQ. BUT first a bunny hunt..

If it wasn't for all the snow I'd say forget the rabbits get 10 pheasants toss 'em in the river valley and let the dogs have some real fun

Will be going out next week for grouse and rabbits. No point going tomorrow as there might still be people deer hunting for the gun season and I don't want to interrupt their hunt.
