Default New CVA Optima V2 Sighting In

Took the new toy out could only setup at 25 yards due to location but my window in clearing is only 30 yards anyway so suited me fine, product used to sight in PowerBelt 250gr Areolite 2 pellets IMR White Hots and Thomson Center 209 primer. Shooting seated arm resting on fold up card table (no sandbags etc), I had 7 of the 250gr bullets but was on target in 3 shots I used 6 of them. Switched to my hunting setup PB 300gr AreoLite every thing else was the same i'm attaching pictures as its easier to see. Only thing I didn't like was the 209 primers they seemed really dirty from the Winchester 209's I've used before any comments?.

Were you aiming at the same point for every shot?

    LOL YES
actually I sighted in on another target before the pic show each shot was aimed at the point it hit and remember free handing it here as I would be in my blind
Should have said that in original post I did not use card table for these shots for 5 shots on posted picture.

Ha ha, then you are gold.

I was thinking, that is a heck of a bad group, ha ha ha.

I have a week off for the controlled hunt in SW Ontario, leaving the shotgun and modern smoke pole at home, side lock Kentucky rifle with patched round ball will be the only thing I grab for the week

I still have to take a few shots to make sure I know where it is hitting, the irons don't get knocked out very often though and 100gr of Pyrodex RS hits dead on elevation at 50 yards so a few reminder shots should be all I need.

Did you use that gun during the general hunt or are you hunting a Dec muzzle loader hunt too?
