Where have all the pheasants gone?

Great topic for discussion GW.

I have hunted Phez in ON, only at game farms, mainly to keep the rust off, and give the dog some activity in the off season.

I did have an opportunity to hunt wild birds in North Dakota years ago when my dad lived in the Peg. I can say that wild birds are definitely vastly different from their pen raised cousins.

It would be nice if a group like Pheasants Forever could get some momentum going up here, but given the degree of limited success even the RGS gets, I doubt it would fly ( pun intended).
