I don't think there is really anything wrong here, how often are any of these used for crimes and if they are going to commit a crime then why would a mag restriction stop them? You can get mags in the states and bring them here if you really wanted to have high capacity.

Don't change fixed magazine capacities and go with 10rds would be fine with me but they will never expand it, if anything they will restrict it more with the current government.

One reason why I would love a trip to Navada, then again it may annoy me when anything I get here stops at 5rds.

At this point in time any firearms purchases are iffy, you have no idea what Bill Blair may do. He may just do what he said and ban the AR-15 and a few other current restricted (not going to make me happy), but he could give in to the NDP and ban all handguns or come out with a New Zealand or Australian model and even the Cooey 600 bolt action would be banned.
