No, they are ... or in the case of many that are seen in Yemen WERE the Canadian vehicles, they were identified as such elsewhere but some seem to think truth only comes from CBC so if I find an article written by them that is actually mostly factual I use that link. The fact that we are buying their oil (at world price) and ignoring Alberta's (sold at a huge discount) more than disgusts me! A good pic of the before here....

But it may be another 8 wheeled, light armoured vehicle.. likely Canadian made, the back door and lights look off... I'm not an expert.. many versions out there but I just don't trust CBC's "facts".

... and if you listen to the non-answer from the Freeland above the current gov't doesn't care even with all it's posturing ... given past comments some like Lib Alghabra probably wants to sell them more... we will see! I am betting either a complete disaster for Canada with the NDP ruining Canada for atleast the next generation or two or a new election in the spring.... after the gun ban (so they can say they are doing something) and increasing the carbon tax (so they can say they are doing something) and getting Quebec it's propane .... it's Quebec they have to do something other than fly Justlied to Vancouver to surf.

Yep, looks like you got it right, the burned/burning wrecks look alot closer to that one in the door shape and window position.... and CBC may have got it right then they are probably the LAV-25.

The big talk as in in Article is people and the UN want to stop Canada from selling LAV's to Saudis.
Three problems.
1) They are a US ALLIES, and the ONLY Muslim Nation the Recognizes Israel's right to Exist.

2) Without LAV's, what do people expect them to use? I think Mounted Calvary and Mounted Infantry in the MIDDLE of the LAST Century ( WW 2 GERMANY).

3) If they can not get equipment from the west, the equipment will come from the Russian stock piles. Great for the Russian Economy. They get to sell to all sides, and the whole Middle east is their testing grounds. Watch the weapons and Armoured vehicle systems make huge leaps and soon out class NATO.
