Dustin Van Vugt,Conservative Fund Chairman, states unequivocally that funds were used to transfer the family to Ottawa with the full knowledge and sign-off of the board. That's standard procedure for all political parties. Look for the left wing media to attempt an anti- Trump-style media blitz. The story was printed by Global News. See what I mean? The CBC and TorStar will be next. Mountain out of a mole hill time.

I would also agree with that. One of the biggest issues is the looming crash of the Liberal's (probably before spring), a new leader has to be picked and have a name... Scheer wasn't a big enough name, sort of every ones third choice so when it was all added up he barely came out ahead.

So according to the usual schedule... yep this looks right

They need to pick a leader yesterday, they need a name ( 1) Ambrose 2) McKay ..... then the rest .... Kenny would have been my #1 and after McKay why even dragging Harper back would give them a better chance than the third stringers.) and they need to show 100X the integrity of the LIEbral's .... I mean everyone expects them to be exactly what they show they are over and over! Just look how many times Trudeau and Blair gets caught lying ... expected, no outrage or surprise .... off the fiction factory they go again!

    Then there is this guy...

    P.S.
The NDP and maybe the Libs may see this as an opportunity actually now I think about it, a failed confidence vote early, unorganized Conservative leadership and budda bing, budda doom... Libs get more seats (not in west but they don't care). Say the Libs tell the NDP no on something, then they blame them, fear mongering is ongoing (look at LIEbral Blairs ongoing fiction) etc. They know the crash is likely coming and an leaderless or unknown leader ....

Agree 100%. If she had led us into the last election it would have been a Conservative majority.

Unlike in the US where the media can air or print any BS they want under The First Amendment, our media must be a lot more circumspect about what and how they print articles. If what they print turns out to "fake news" and it can be shown where the article was written with a deliberate attempt to injure, the Criminal Code can come into play very quickly not to mention civil law suits for libel and slander. Our media are very good at "skirting" the fringe of legality with editorial "spin" which is legal and can cause a lot of shyte in and of itself. I hate the media with a passion. To me,they're nothing but biased, leftist, sniveling, pathetic lying little pecker puffers.
They need to be able to prove what the write or be able to be sued into oblivion.

We need a strong leader for sure, I voted Conservative but knew Andrew Sheer wasn't the right person for the job. I'm hoping they get it right the next time.

Exactly ... it is very common to negotiate these things as part of packages. There's a salary and benefits, and a negotiation ... the media will always be quick to blow this up nuclear ... but it is likely a legitimate benefit. Maybe he accepted a lower salary to offset the tuition, and the tuition could be a tax write off ... who knows. Don't jump to conclusions.

    Bottom line.
The GTA cesspool. Once again proving how everything revolves around them. Not good enough their selfishness and head in the sand blinders destroyed Ontario. And some can’t grasp why so many regions can’t stand it/them.

Regardless, Scheer and the cons were shut out. If he couldn’t win 10-20 seats there this year, he wouldn’t next time around. Whether that’s in 2 years or 4.

He had to go, there really is no other option. And no other way to spin it

He simply proved once again how good Conservative parties are at stealing defeat from the jaws of victory.
