It might give you an extra 10 yds. out to 50 yds.,but, isn't that a tad tight with that shot size?
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Has too much time on their hands
My preferred load for close in - 3" with 9 X .32 "0" buckshot, interspersed with #4 filler, hand loads.

I have never tried it, nor would I. There’s lots of conflicting information out there about that, but I was told by a gunsmith, not to use a turkey choke with buckshot. He recommended improved or modified. My worry would be a bulge in the barrel or at the very least, making choke removal difficult .

I wouldn't think it would help but rather hinder your pattern. Over constricting big shot can cause bridging and a rebound effect which allow exponential lateral forces on the shot when it leaves the barrel.

How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

Pattern it to find out. I've patterned buck through full chokes and didn't find the results better than IC or mod.

Yes I’ll repeat what has been said, as a norm the bigger shot sizes prefer a more open choke than full or extra full.
I love fishing but REALLY it is just a way to pass time until hunting season!!!!

So probably my factory modified will do fine then. I’ll pattern it and see.

boom buddy. i plan to throw in some number twos for the walk in with a slug as my last shot, just in case i jump a bunny or a napping yote. at that point, when i sit down and shut up i can throw whatever is preferred. mod choke gives you the best options for just about any surprise
