The Milwaukee puts out 1200 inch pounds of torque which may be the highest you can find. I was using a Master Craft Maximum 20 volt hammer drill with my former 6" Fin Bore but it won't turn the 8" auger. CTC carries the Clam Plate.
I use a Fin Bore 8" as well without a Clam Plate ( my Fin Bore has been customised) with a welded extension of 12 "s love the Fin Bore. My romance with electric augers started 10 - 11 years ago with a StrikeMaster Electra 1200, will never go back to gas. By the way the StrikeMaster Electra 1200 still works great just went this way for weight, 12 pounds verus 23 pounds.
