January - Nipissing Ice Reports Thread

So I'm just going to keep rolling with the ice reports but now that the season is open I'm going to be fishing at the same time. I'm going to try to squeeze in 5 minutes of fishing per day (for health reasons). Maybe If I'm lucky something will bite while I'm laying down the conditions on the lake. Stay with me and I'll keep you up to date.

Too bad I'm way down here in Toronto and can't take advantage of your efforts, but I hope to head up your way sooner than later, so that I can try out the amazing fishery that you have there.

I have not heard if it is or not. The ice has been really variable this year,

Some nice jumbos there koke,well done.

I always found the perch fishing to die off by dark. Only once we got a night time perch. Then again you have the walleye good luck

Going to be a messy weekend there with lots of snow.
