Rice Lake Update (Bewdley)
Checked out rice lake today to see if the heavy rainfall did any damage. Still measuring about 6-7 inches of ice for the most part. If you are planning on heading out from the boat launch next to the tackle shop in bewdley be careful. The ice is pretty sketchy at the boat launch, figured that out the hard way. Only fished for a couple hours but caught a good handful of perch.

I would imagine it's fine. I was out Friday night before the rain and got into some crappie and a couple of walleye, the ice thickness was around 13". I went back Sunday night to find 5" of water on top, so i didn't bother fishing. It should be good and tight now though. I don't go out from Bewdley. You can PM me if you want to know where I went out from.

Got out to Rice Lake yesterday, lots of huts just offshore at Bewdley so figured that was as good a spot as any for our first outing. Around 12” of ice and only the top inch appeared to be white ice. Dirt bikes on the lake and some guy in a car chasing them around, which my 8 year old found very entertaining.
Two small perch that we threw back, talked to another group on our way in and they didn’t have much either. Good afternoon anyway.

Straight out from the Lcbo the permanent huts are close to the weedlines, 6fow pink and white tubes or pink jig head and a pinhead
