    Thanks I think I will go to shooters in kitch/waterloo as daughter lives there so would be convenient and they seem to have a great reputation..
    thanks ride.lift.shoot but I am going to try a few bows out and see, if I do like the Elite I will definitely be interested

    Good place with different brand , got my last Matthew there Monster Chill 30” try them all take ur time .

    Also, and probably the most important thing is, don't over bow yourself!!!
    If you have to contort yourself in any way to draw the bow it means you are overbowed and you will not be able to utilize and develop a proper shooting form and shot sequence.
    Besides, here in Ontario if you are hunting whitetails you don't need anything higher than 50# anyway.
    You wouldn't believe the number of people who come into the shop to see me wanting to get a 70# bow for their first bow. Uggg! Stop watching those stupid hunting shows, will you already!
    Also, buy from a bow shop where there is a qualified tech to help you set the bow up properly to fit you, etc.
    Stay away from places like Cabelas. They'll sell you a bow, but then you're on your own.
