Jeff, this is exactly where to post this topic up and this subject NEEDS to be beaten like a dead horse so maybe some guys will actually get it ...........REAL bow hunters don’t take those kind of shots and it defeats the purpose of bow hunting.
Very well said. Im sure the majority here feel the same.

Ok, it's all good to try and educate anybody and everybody about ethics when it comes to hunting, when you're in the field, there is no judge, jury or referee,
you're on your own to do the what ever, to many "hunters" do the what ever, not just new comers, but the "experienced" make bad decisions, here's an example, deer drives, muzzle loader season, 6 guys pushing, 6 guys shooting, let loose and fire away, towards your buddies, deer being hit, so called hunters because they had a permit to hunt forever, have no clue, if they hit their intended target, they go once a year, hunt deer and shoot, bow, crossbow, centre fire, muzzle loader, choose your choice of tool to do the job, keep on preaching tho, and hopefully you will bring a hunter over to the other side of just trying to "KILL" things

Archery equipment has always required a more ethical shot on big game. Unfortunately they advertise accuracy as though it's what sets a gun and a bow apart when it comes to hunting big game. The reality is, it's the inefficiency of archery equipment to get a recovery shot that sets them apart.
Adding a couple hundred fps to a bow isn't going to change that.
