Spring bear hunt around the ottawa area
Hello everyone, haven't been on much lately but happy to see it's still available for advise.
I'm doing a spring bear hunt this year, told the wife its happen no matter what lol. Was looking for some advise about public land around the ottawa area, I know about Marlboro forest. But wondering if anyone else knows anywhere I would say what drive away at most to set up a spot. I've got some barrels coming and keeping an eye on TSC for the dog food to go on sale to stock up lol. Would also be interested if some other ppl may want to do a hunt trip with me. I am new and willing to learn and always looking for some helpful advise to pass on when I get older to hopefully my family and family friends.
Thank you all for taking the time to read and reply. Hope you all had a great Christmas holiday and happy new year.

Not sure I understand what you are asking, but if you want someplace other than Marlborough forest, try the Calabogie area. I was riding my ATV there in the summer and there was bear sign all over the place. I even encountered a female and cub right on an ATV trail, and there were clear signs that people were hunting bears in the area.

I'd be willing to link up and do some scouting/prepwork for a bear hunt.

Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.
