Even that would be too much money to spend. Make him pig feed.

And before anyone tries to say I’m a liberal supporter, I happen to literally be a card carrying member of the Conservative party. I even spent some time this last election volunteering for our MP.
I just don’t need to add made up crap to a pile of crap that stands in it’s own.
Also, I’d like to bear hunt this spring but my biggest concern is getting the bear out of the woods without an ATV. Thoughts?

Start working out now.
Or hunt with a friend with an ATV.

Quarter it debone and use a backboard pack.

Worry about killing the bear first
After you find it
get yourself a good sharp knife and debone it
No need ATV
Been bear hunting for 30 years never owned one
Good luck

What do you know, a comment that's actually on topic. The lack of moderation in this forum at times is really disappointing.
I leave an old hood from a small car near my stands. Long tow rope already attached. Also drill extra holes along the sides to attach straps. One or more at the back too, to attach a short rope to control the arse end swing. Slides pretty well over anything including rocks. Some tree straps, a few pulleys and a good rope or two can really make the difference on slopes or rough terrain or even crossing a creek , specially if you're good with pulley systems.
Or of course you could do this mod like we did on one at a buds place where I took my best Bruin. In this case we had a 3 wheeler available but there was a good hill we figured it couldn't handle. Bolted a winch on and left a 12V battery with it. We needed it on that hill for sure, she was a big gal.

Yes at one point this thread surely got off topic.
