DU Not supporting petition E-2341
On another site ( CGN), it was raised the DU Canada has not issued out a comment, nor sent any of it's members any information referencing petition E-2341, referencing the upcoming Liberal firearms legislation.
This is a crucial piece of legislation, and the online petition is the largest in history.
I am sorely disappointed in DU's apathy towards letting its members know, and publicizing the petition.
I am quite selective in which organizations receive funds from my wallet, and going forward, they will be receiving zero, regardless how nice the dinners and swag are.
I strongly urge those of you on here to do the same.
Cheers.

Sounds like two very good reasons why Delta Waterfowl is "The Duck Hunters Organization".

DU receives a huge chunk of their operating funds from NGO and government environmental programs grants. They're not likely to bite the hand that feeds them.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

D.U. mandate , has always been the acquiring of, improving and maintaining wetlands.
There are many members and workers with D.U. that are not hunters.
See my post # 14 in Hunting 101.

Then they should be able to do it without auctioning off guns and hunts.
If they do not want to be political then stop taking Liberal money. They simply don't want to bite the hand that feeds them, as long as they get their money they really do not care.

Exactly.
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

They could try auctioning rabbit hutches or goat pens , but they would not make much of those items , and then could not buy/acquire more wetlands and improve and maintain them.
