I read thru the 2020 forecast for the upcoming auction in March. He sounds upbeat, largely due, I'm sure, to the failure of his competitor NAFA. For sure it'll be a harbinger on the future of the fur trade.

Be interesting to see how it all shakes out. One of the big European auction houses is having a ranch mink auction at the same time.

Was at FHA in North Bay yesterday and they are busy but not swamped.

That was an interesting point he made about Ranch Mink speculation driving the prices down on and that it may take years to bring the prices back up. I wonder what spurred that to happen. Do you know how healthy the ranch mink market is here in Canada ?

Lots of the mink farms in North America went bankrupt but not all. NAFA was into ranch mink and owned farms as well. The collapse of the ranch mink market was what brought them down.
