I can see this thing going south very easily. The village idiot and his crew will throw the police under the bus. Blair is very good at that already ! So much for sunny ways !!

OK, can someone please help me ... the bands agreed and approved ... but the hereditary chiefs did not ...
What is the hierocracy here? I don't understand how the hereditary chiefs are separate from the bands ?? Are they not part of a band?
How come they have so much power to trump the agreements made by the bands?

FN protesters have shut down the GO line between Hamilton and Aldershot this morning.
https://globalnews.ca/news/6590842/h...rail-blockade/
While the right to protest is enshrined the charter so is the fact that everyone is equal before and under the law. These protesters do not have the right to shut down travel in our country. They burned the court injunction the police served them last night. It is time to stop this before someone is hurt or worse.

Hard to negotiate "nation to nation" when one of them can't resolve who actually speaks for their nation. Combine that with a PM who quivers at the sight of anyone armed with dollar store bristol board.

Or a PM who sends mixed messages by saying reconciliation is important yet mocks FN protesters in front of Toronto elite or who says he wants to better FN wealth yet stymies projects which would do exactly that.
