100' of rope,2" clevis, rain suit, leather gloves, mini saw, pruning shears, small ax,cooler pack, drinks and sandwich.I almost forget to mention a small snatch block. They can act as a doubler or direction guide if you really get swamped in the muck.

If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

If I'm hunting it's rare to go far on an ATV as I enjoy walking quietly to my spots. On my bike there will be a basic tool kit, water and a chainsaw.

If I'm riding, an axe, water, tool kit, tire plugs, spare oil in case of a drowning and a can of ether or a CO² blaster for tire repair. My tires are always able to run airless but it sucks when you break a bead. Usually I ride as light as possible because I don't like things flopping around in technical terrain and I hate having my bike off balance.

How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

small folding shovel, axe, plenty of rope, snatch block, tire repair kit, hand air pump, 12 volt air pump, 9x12 tarp, 1st aid kit, a few basic tools, spare spark plug, spare lighter/matches, extra gloves, couple small flash lights, bum wad and finally, a rain suit. This is my standard stuff. There would be food n beverage of course depending on the day's trip.

This is one of those threads (one of the many)when i learn new stuff. Thanx.

I was not familiar with the terms of-snatch block(eventhough i know about the basics-but the term and all the details not),bum wad and even the gitch is new term for me.
By now i think it is clear-English is ESL for me..Lot to learn.
I truly enjoy though learning new-usable-funny or slang terms.

Perhaps some of You do not even think that some words here are "special".But for the curious and unaware, they are.

Now-for the OP-for the snatch block, i think one would need a winch on the ATV.........it was not mentioned earlier,so i am not sure if You do.
The block could help-but you may need else to increase the force you want to aply to loads in the bush.Come along, block and tackle or a strong and handy friend, who is there when needed.
